PARAMETERS
Compensation Philosophy
Conventional payment models cannot apply to the unclassifiable. Instead:
Compensation is determined through dialogue, based on the work’s nature, scope, and the author’s needs. Minimum: $0.08 per word. Maximum: determined by the work’s inherent value.
Submission Requirements
- Length: Any length that serves the work. From 500 words to 50,000. We trust your judgment.
- Genre: None. Or all. Or something else entirely.
- Format: Any format that can be transmitted digitally or described adequately. Text, image, code, hybrid forms, instructions for experiences.
- Originality: Must be previously unpublished in any form that reached an audience larger than your immediate circle.
- Language: Any language, including invented ones. Include translation if necessary for comprehension.
Paradigm Note: We are particularly interested in works that exist between categories: poetic essays, philosophical fiction, instructional literature, coded narratives, interactive text, or forms yet unnamed.
Submission Period
Ongoing. We accept submissions year-round, reviewing in quarterly cycles.
Next review cycle begins: February 1, 2026
Response Protocol
We respond within 7 days, often with questions rather than decisions. Our process is conversational, not bureaucratic. If 30 days pass without contact, send a reminder encrypted with the word “soo generis” in the subject line.
